Don't miss this "Painting Early Summer" workshop at the beautiful Mill of Kintail Gatehouse in Mississippi Mills, Ont.

We will be painting at the Gatehouse, in the tranquil surroundings of the Mill of Kintail Conservation area, through which flows the ancient Indian River.

With natural beauty surrounding you, it's easy to relax and think in a creative way. Nature has been the great inspiration for centuries of artists, and never grows old.

Desert WavesThe Atacama Desert, Peru. My special guest will be accomplished Canadian photographer Chris MacFarlane.

As well as showing you examples from his portfolio, he will be discussing the importance of strong composition and other technical matters.

Chris has extensive experience as both a photographer and teacher, and I think you will quickly see the parallels between photography and painting.

Don't miss this!

As of 1930, The Mill of Kintail became the peaceful summer home of Almonte born Dr. Robert Tait McKenzie and his wife Ethel.

He was internationally recognized for his work as a physician, sculptor, teacher and writer.

According to museum records, Group of Seven artist A. Y. Jackson also visited the Mill of Kintail to paint.

Don't miss this opportunity to paint with recognized artist and teacher Blair T. Paul
Associate of the Ontario College of Art & Design and Ontario Society of Artists.

It will be an experience you will benefit from and long remember.
