“Spirits of the Earth” is an exhibition in which Blair T. Paul is one of the featured artists. Eight paintings from the Stylized Landscape series are shown in the beautiful setting of the Joseph D. Carrier Art Gallery, Columbus Centre, 901 Lawrence Ave. West, Toronto, April 7-May 4, 2011.

Laureen Harper, wife of Prime Minister Mr. Stephen Harper was in attendance prior to the opening. She expressed her admiration for the artist’s work and they talked freely about the eight paintings being shown as well as art in general.

Following their time together, Mrs. Harper was presented with a copy of the artist's recently published book “On the Edge of Discovery: contemporary paintings in a personal context”, Penumbra Press 2010.
